Chef Ryan Turner
My name is Ryan Turner, and I’ve been a chef for many years—I’ve been cooking since the age of 13 when I started in a small country pub kitchen. Originally from Salisbury, United Kingdom, I moved to the United States in 2011 to work as a full-time private chef for Dr. Ed Bosarge, who primarily resided in Houston. I traveled with him and his family to their various properties around the country, spending winters in Aspen (where I met my wife, Elizabeth), summers in Maine and travelling to some amazing locations around the country. I also had the privilege of helping set up the catering operations on a brand new private island, Over Yonder Cay, in the Bahamas and I was lucky to have spent several truly amazing months living on Over Yonder Cay, cooking for charter guests.
I worked for the Bosarge family for 3 wonderful years, and in 2014, Dr. Bosarge and I launched a joint business venture called The Sola Company. I became a research and development chef, and have been the company’s head R&D chef for the past 11 years. Sola specializes in low-carb bread and baked goods, which you can find in the freezer section of Publix here in Florida if you’re interested in trying it. The company has grown into a successful nationwide brand. To learn more, visit: www.thesolacompany.com.
I recently stepped down from my full-time role at The Sola Company with the aim to get back to what I love doing absolutely most in the world, which is cooking and everything food focused! I’m immensely proud of what I have helped achieve with the Sola Company and I’ll add some more information about Sola below. I’m thrilled to watch the company continue to grow from the sidelines while I focus on returning to my true passion: cooking delicious food using fresh Florida produce. I’m especially excited about the abundance of local seafood!
Our family realized our dream of moving from the big city life in Houston to Florida in 2024. We now live in Ormond By The Sea, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be here! We have two young children, who are loving life here in Ormond Beach too!
With Curated Cuisine, I specialize in preparing high-end cuisine for small groups of up to 12 guests in intimate home settings and I would absolutely love the opportunity to cook for you and your family!
My culinary style reflects my love for cooking dishes from all over the world. I’ve traveled extensively and have picked up many flavors and techniques along the way. My primary influences are British, classic European, and French, along with a strong American influence from my many years living here. This vast country is full of exciting regional dishes and ingredients. I love the fresh, light flavors of seafood, lobster, and seasonal vegetables of the Northeast, which contrast with the slow-smoked meats and indulgent sauces of the Southern states. Venturing further into the Southeast, the Cajun influence in the bayou cities showcases rich, intense flavors and brings the term "soul food" to life. I also have a passion for Middle Eastern, Indian, and Asian cuisines.
I’m well-versed in cooking for unique dietary needs and always enjoy a challenge. Whether vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, I love the opportunity to create flavorful dishes. Additionally, I’m extremely knowledgeable about low-carb cuisine, having spent my entire career in the U.S. specializing in the low-carb lifestyle. I’m so passionate about this lifestyle that I even wrote a cookbook of delicious low-carb recipes called Boundless: A Fresh Approach to Real Food Freedom. To learn more, CLICK HERE

Kindest regards, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Here’s some more information about The Sola Company
For anyone who’s interested!
So how did Sola come to be? We’re glad you asked!
It all started with Chef Ryan. He was inspired to create Sola when he was tasked to come up with a delicious low-carb, no- added-sugar menu—for a party with hundreds on the guest list. His dishes wowed the crowd—and convinced his low-carb clients they no longer had to give up on the rich flavors they love. Ryan decided to help with the clients’ day-to-day menus, and searched for keto bagels, keto bread, and low carb products in grocery stores—but alas, he couldn't find any that met his rigorous standards.
Refusing to compromise on taste, Ryan created Sola in 2012, starting with his own keto bread, keto granola, and bagels, boasting flavors that impressed everyone—even the skeptics. Ryan teamed up with a pastry chef, to make our baked goods even tastier. No R&D labs here—as other functional nutrition brands do!
Together, they came up with the taste profiles you know and love today from Sola that have the added benefit of being made with non-GMO ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Our yummy low carb products include keto bagels in all your favorite flavors, keto friendly bread that’s utterly delicious, phenomenally fluffy keto buns, and the greatest low carb granola.
In short? Sola makes staying on track easy thanks to our low carb products that don’t sacrifice on taste.
